SAVE THE DATE – SEPTEMBER 14 FOR OUR ONE DAY NMLS LICENSE RENEWAL TRAINING!! We had such a great turnout and feedback from last year’s event that we reserved the same training company and venue for this year!  This one day class is so much easier than those self paced webinar classes that hang over your head for weeks until you finally cram it in at the last minute! The plan is for this one day course to cover all necessary requirements for DE, MD, & PA. And we are even getting the 2 hour requirement for NJ included as an online course after this event! The venue will be Cavaliers Country Club again this year.  More details and registration info coming soon!

We held yet another one of our series of Lunch & Learn’s on March 1st at the NCCBOR Office.  This informative seminar was entitled “Clarify the Confusion: Understanding Self-Employed Borrowers and Business Tax Returns”. We received a lot of great feedback from the attendees. Thanks to Arch Mortgage Insurance for sponsoring! Stay tuned for our next informative webinar!

As you all know, we held our MBA Holiday Jingle and Charity Fundraiser in December for the benefit of the Office of Child Advocate (OCA), a non-profit which does great work to support foster children in Delaware.  Thanks to ALL who helped put it together and to those who came and wrote checks!  It was truly a special night!  And best of all, I can report that in January we cut a check for the proceeds of $4,090 to this great organization so they can continue this important work for the foster kids of Delaware!

We need Member participation on a DMBA Committee!
Many people have signed up to participate on a committee so please consider getting involved with one of them! Committees include Membership, Legislative Affairs, Events & Community Affairs and Education, Ethics & Compliance. Email Kevin Jornlin at in order to get more info or sign up!
